As is known, on April 10, 2019, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed the Decree ‘On further measures to accelerate the development of the pharmaceutical industry of the republic in 2019-2021’, according to which, by January 2022, domestic manufacturers must have a certificate for compliance with the Good Manufacturing Practice requirements.

A number of companies have applied to date for an audit to assess compliance with good manufacturing practices by domestic medicine manufacturers.

These days, one of those companies, RADIKS Research-Production Enterprise has been awarded the GMP certification from the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency. Abdugafur Karimov, head of RADIKS LLC, received the certificate at the meeting, specially organized in the UzPharmAgency office.

Farokhat Tashmatova, head of the International Standard Introduction Coordinating Department of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency, said that inspection in RADIKS LLC had been performed in accordance with the Company’s request, submitted to the working body of the State Center for Expertise and Standardization of Medicines, Medical Devices and Medical Equipment under the UzPharmAgency. “A positive decision was made on the basis of a corresponding pharmaceutical inspection and information received,” she added.
