In 2022, experts examined 3,790 types of medicines based on 600 appeals

The State Center for Expertise and Standardization of Medicines, Medical Products, and Medical Equipment under the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry has provided information on the cases identified during six months of 2022 regarding low-quality, counterfeit, and expired pharmaceutical products.

By July 1 of this year, law enforcement agencies, individuals, and legal entities at the Department of Law Enforcement Appeals of the State Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan received 600 appeals.

During the study of these appeals, 1,189,181 packages of 3,790 types of medicinal products were found to be useless in medical practice, of which:
➖ 410,075 packages of 1,442 types are state registered;
➖ that 474,383 packages of 796 types have not been registered;
Availability of 383 type 5060 package conformity certificates;
➖ 789 types of 289,520 packages do not have conformity certificates;
➖ 5897 packages of 204 types according to the labeling indicator (counterfeit);
➖ 151 types 1235 of expired quality;
➖ 25 types of 3011 packages were counterfeited, including "L-Lysine essinate 5 ml No. 5", "Actovegin 40 mg 5 ml No. 5", "Cerebrolysin 5 ml No. 5", "Solcoseryl 5 ml No. 5", "Layboten 1.0 g, Mildronat 5 ml No. 10, "Revarton", "Tebantin", "Sytatek", "Zardeks", "Kovifor", "Fatzorb", "Vobenzim", "Vobenzim-E" were repeated several times.
