Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Pharmaceutical industry development agency met with Lim Ka Meng, Director of the Singapore’s "Metagen Biologics Pte. Ltd." the enterprise and Vincent Lo, leader of the "CPG International Pte.Ltd."

The Director introduced the goals, plans and general concept of the Agency and "Tashkent Pharma Park".

Metagen Bilogics is a biopharmaceutical company. Currently, "Metagen Biologics" has developed biosimilars of Humira and Denosumab biologics, which have completed clinical trials and are ready for production in Uzbekistan.

In addition, Mr. Lim proposed scientific cooperation and production in Uzbekistan on the development of new drugs based on RNA in the future.

CPG International company made proposals for investment and creation of necessary infrastructure for the implementation of these projects.

According to the results of the meeting, the director of the Agency emphasized the importance of biopharmaceuticals for Uzbekistan and expressed his willingness for mutual cooperation within his authority.
