Zafar Rana Azfar, the CEO of Novo Nordisk for CIS markets, and Malika Sakhibova, representative of the company in Uzbekistan, met with Agency Director A. Azizov. Novo Nordisk is a Danish pharmaceutical company and one of the largest open pharmaceutical companies in the world for the treatment of diabetes.

The company reported that it is actively engaged in research on new molecules today and emphasized the presence of further opportunities for cooperation with Uzbekistan to enhance collaboration. Novo Nordisk also announced its readiness to participate in training sessions and seminars aimed at improving the knowledge of specialists in the country. Additionally, they discussed pertinent issues within the framework of active work aimed at advancing the pharmaceutical industry.
