"Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan: Trends and Opportunities" via video conference.

On February 9 of this year, the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Network under the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Great Britain and the Ministry of Health held an online forum on the topic "Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan: Trends and Opportunities" via video conference.

 The online forum discussed a unique opportunity to gain valuable information about the pharmaceutical industry in the heart of Asia, study business prospects, exchange ideas, and develop cooperation.

 The forum was opened by the representative of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Great Britain. Then Abdulla Azizov, director of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Network, made a presentation for the participants of the forum on the topic "Trends and opportunities in the pharmaceutical business in Uzbekistan". In the presentation, in accordance with the continuous development of Uzbekistan, significant reforms are being implemented in the pharmaceutical industry, in addition, the fact that Uzbekistan is located in the heart of Central Asia provides several strategic advantages, Uzbekistan is created for foreign investors. opportunities and advantages, personnel issues and other important topics were mentioned.

 During the forum, Mr. Biyi Oloko, an expert of "Commonwealth Pharmacy Association" of Great Britain and the head of "Stephen Simeon LTD" said that he is currently investing in African countries and that the pharmaceutical industry of Uzbekistan is particularly interested in him. expressed his warm thoughts. He also mentioned about the business visit to Uzbekistan in March of this year. Abdulla Azizov, director of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Network, added to this idea a proposal to meet with Mr. Biyi Oloko and to visit the "Tashkent Pharma Park" Scientific and Innovative Production Cluster.

 In the forum, the leadership staff of Sunderland and De Montfort universities of Great Britain also participated and said that they have established cooperation with the Pharmaceutical Technical University established in Uzbekistan and that this cooperation is showing its effect on the pharmaceutical industry. expressed their satisfaction with bilateral cooperation.

 At the end of the forum, the parties expressed their warm thoughts about the forum and that this cooperation will be equally useful and fruitful for both countries.
