Representatives of the company, which mainly produces drugs used in the treatment of chronic diseases, initially got acquainted with the favorable investment climate in the pharmaceutical sector of Uzbekistan, the benefits and preferences created for investors and the activities of the agency.
Heiko Schweigel, Head of the Chemie Foreign Trade Center “Berlin-Chemie", said that the German company interest in the Uzbek pharmaceutical market is great, and the geographically favorable location of our country in Central Asia, the opportunities created for the implementation of exports to neighboring countries encourage them to enter this market.
In particular, the company "Berlin-Chemie" plans to establish the production of farm products in Uzbekistan on a fee-contract basis in the future.
The director of the agency, Abdulla Azizov, offered foreign company representatives to exchange experience in the field of R&D (research and development).
At the end of the meeting, the prospects for cooperation and the issues of taking further steps towards the joint projects implementation were discussed.
