Every civil servant must know the essence of the Law "On State Civil Service."

On August 8 of this year, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed the Law "On State Civil Service." The law defines the legal status of more than 118,000 state civil servants working in state bodies and organizations and regulates their activities based on uniform rules.

A few days before the law's signing, that is, on August 4, the heads of state bodies and organizations and local state authorities participated in an online meeting under the chairmanship of the President. The discussion focused on measures to improve public service and management effectiveness.

At this meeting, the Head of State touched on the priority directions of civil service reform. He noted that this issue had been postponed for almost 30 years, and local and foreign experts prepared this law based on two years of in-depth discussions. To ensure the law's meaning and significance, The Agency for Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry held an explanatory and promotional event with the participation of the managers and employees of the organizations in the system.

Shahruz Azimov, the chief inspector of the Department of Civil Service Development under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, presented the topic and answered the questions in detail.
