As you know, the development strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026 was approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan titled "On the development strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026" dated January 28, 2022. In the state program on improvement, the task of introducing the international standard of the quality management system (ISO: 9001) into the activities of ministries and agencies has been defined.

To ensure the execution of the task, the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry and the "State Center for Expertise and Standardization of Medicines, Medical Products, and Medical Equipment" within the framework of the 1st stage of the introduction of the international standard of the quality management system (ISO 9001) at the State Unitary from June 13 to July 18 of this year An assessment audit was conducted by consultants involved in the Republic of Uzbekistan within the framework of the "Medication Quality Promotion Plus" program ("PQM+").

During the audit, experts studied the tasks assigned to the Agency, activities of structural divisions, and improvement of personnel's qualifications. Conditions of the material-technical base were critically studied as well.

The management and employees of the Agency discussed the presentations on the implementation of the international standard of the quality management system (ISO: 9001).

At the meeting, those responsible for the full launch of the project and their tasks were determined.

The international standard of the quality management system (ISO: 9001) is planned to be introduced in the Agency and its subordinate body "State Center for Expertise and Standardization of Medicines, Medical Products, and Medical Equipment" in December 2022.
