On February 11, 2022, the Committee on Public Health of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis held an online and in-person meeting.

Deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, representatives of the Ministry for support of mahalla and family, and the Ministry of Health and its affiliates attended the meeting.

The meeting heard reports of relevant ministries and departments on the tasks set by Presidential Decree No. PF-60 of January 28, 2022 "On the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026" for the next five years.

Alisher Temirov, Deputy Director of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency, spoke about the 5-year program for the development of the pharmaceutical industry and the main directions of the pharmaceutical industry for the next five years.

He reported on the main directions of the pharmaceutical industry of the Republic for the next five years and the results to be achieved in the field in 2022-2026, as defined by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 21, 2022 PF-55. 

As mentioned earlier, The Development Strategy and the Roadmap for its implementation in 2022 envisaged achieving 100 goals within the framework of 7 priority areas of development of the country.  The critical tasks in those areas were also highlighted.
