Consultants of Eximbank of Korea arrived in Uzbekistan
On January 28 this year, consultants from the Eximbank of Korea arrived in Uzbekistan to develop a feasibility study for the 2nd stage of the project called Creation of educational and research components of the innovative research and production pharmaceutical cluster Tashkent Pharma Park.
From the Korean side, the mission is headed by Professor of Koryo University Choi Jaewook (Choi Jewook), who was awarded the Gratitude of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in September 2020. In February 2020, he was awarded the Gratitude of the Minister of Health, the Government of Uzbekistan, and the Salomatlik Order, 1st degree following the PP dated 2020.08.28.
Within the framework of the 2nd stage of the project, it is planned to build and equip the Clinical Research Center, equip the Research Center, and re-equip the Data Center.
During the visit, representatives of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency and the Directorate of the innovative research and production pharmaceutical Cluster "Tashkent Pharma Park", visited the territory of the cluster where negotiations were held with representatives of the State Unitary Enterprise "State Center for Expertise and Standardization of Medicines, Medical Devices and Medical technology” of Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency under the Ministry of Health, the Tashkent Medical Academy, The Republican Specialized Scientific-Practical Medical Center for Therapy and Medical Rehabilitation, and Tashkent Research Institute of Vaccines and Serums.
