At the meeting, held on August 9, 2022, issues of establishing mutually beneficial cooperation with the Agency and the University of Malaysia, creating new educational projects in our country, and analyzing and implementing advanced research methods and clinical trials were discussed.

At the beginning of the talks, Sardor Kariev, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry, highlighted the developing process of the pharmaceutical sector in Uzbekistan and spoke about the pharmaceutical cluster Tashkent Pharma Park and the modern infrastructure within it.

Continuing his speech, Sardor Kariev emphasized, "Today, the industry needs high-potential personnel who can work freely not only in pharmacies but also in other fields of pharmaceutics."
After that, Abdumalik Jumanov, vice-rector for educational affairs of the Pharmaceutical Technical University, gave detailed information to the guests about the Pharmaceutical Technical University, which will be launched in the Zangiota district of the Tashkent region.

At the meeting, Mr. Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid, President of the Malaysian University of Management and Science, sincerely thanked the management of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry for the meeting and expressed his warm thoughts about the cluster. In particular, he called the "Tashkent Pharma Park" cluster "five components under one roof" and expressed confidence that this innovative idea would yield high results soon.

As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding and exchange information permanently in expanding cooperation.
