On October 31 of this year, a meeting was held in the Agency with representatives of the PQM+ program of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the agency's leadership.
It is worth noting that USAID's PQM Plus - "Medication Quality Improvement" program implemented by the US Pharmacopoeia provides technical assistance to strengthen the system of quality assurance of medicines in order to achieve the goals set in the health care system.
In the meeting, there were the representatives of the "Center of Necessary Practices" and PQM+ USP Main Technical Programs Director Archil Salakaya, PQM+ USP Coordinator in Uzbekistan Alexander Kvitanashvili and PQM+ Strategy Consultant Shamshod Sharipov attended and the principles of implementing GxP directions of the quality management system were discussed.
Also, the prospects of cooperation regarding the program were discussed. The PQM+ program aims to improve the management of the quality assurance system of medical products in Uzbekistan, and to expand the supply of quality-assured medical products, which are important in maintaining the health of the population.
