University of Sunderland representatives visit Agency

Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency, met with representatives of the University of Sunderland, Great Britain. University of Sunderland Pro Vice Chancellor (Learning and Teaching) Professor Abigail Moriarty, Head of International Development, Jamie Simpson and Transnational Education Officer, Julie Pescod participated in the meetings.

Agenda included conditions for the establishment of Pharmaceutical Technical University within the “Tashkent Pharma Park” cluster, logistical support, ensuring the quality of international education in biotechnology and biomedicine, cooperation in research and development in the fields of the drug discovery and development, involvement of professors and professional team of the University of Sunderland in the educational process and scientific research.
