Sardor Kariev, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry, paid an official visit to Hungary as part of a delegation of representatives of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

As part of this visit, representatives of these state pharmaceutical companies met and held negotiations. For example, "Meditop Pharmaceutical Ltd," which has obtained patents for 13 types of medicines worldwide, exports its products to more than 20 countries, such as Germany, Vietnam, and Japan. During the meeting with representatives of the company David Greskovits and Akc Zoltan, Sardor Kariev revealed the investment attractiveness of the pharmaceutical sector of the Republic of Uzbekistan and also introduced the activities of network enterprises.

The meeting also discussed the possibility of implementing an investment project to produce pharmaceutical products (drugs used to treat epilepsy, antibiotics, and painkillers). 

After the meeting, Meditop Pharmaceutical Ltd. employees of the company introduced the Agency's representatives to the production area and scientific production laboratory.

The experts led by Sardor Kariev also visited the "Gedeon Richter" company to study the prospects of cooperation. The company's shares are listed on the Budapest Stock Exchange, meet international GMP and GDP requirements, and have ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 certificates. Furthermore, the representatives of this company familiarized the Uzbek side with the activities of the production area, research, production laboratory, and R&D center.

During the negotiations, the sides considered the contract production of medicines under the brand name "Gedeon Richter" in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Representatives of the Agency also met with the representatives of the "Femfeldogozo" company. They held negotiations on the production of medical furniture and medical equipment in cooperation with "Oskar Mebel" LLC in Uzbekistan.
