South Korea is strengthening cooperation with Uzbekistan in the field of pharmaceuticals.

On November 1, 2023, the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency met with representatives of the South Korean company named "DKConsulting".

At the beginning of the meeting, the director of the agency, Abdulla Azizov, spoke about the main tasks of the agency, introduced the medium and long-term perspectives of the development of the pharmaceutical industry, created opportunities and conditions for pharmaceutical industry, and gave information about the investment attractiveness of the rapidly developing pharmaceutical industry of Uzbekistan.

Chulsoo Kim, managing director of “DKConsulting”, presented information about the activities of this company. The company announced that it intends to build a pharmaceutical manufacturing company with a production capacity of 5 million tablets per year in the territory of Uzbekistan. This project is planned to be implemented in stages.

The director of the agency offered "DKConsulting" company to attract Top-5 pharmaceutical companies of South Korea and support in implementation of projects.
