On August 30, 2022, the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry held a meeting on the issues of revising the regulatory documents defining the procedure for the State registration of medical products and medical equipment, their importation and sale in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The leadership of the Agency, specialists of the State Center for Expertise and Standardization of Medicines, Medical Products, and Medical Equipment, representatives of the Association of Manufacturers and Suppliers of Medical Products of Uzbekistan, and a group of businessmen operating in the field participated in the event.

At the meeting, the issues of bringing medical supplies and medical equipment into the territory of Uzbekistan and simplifying the state registration procedure, as well as the issues of certification of medical supplies and medical equipment, were discussed.

In the end, participants agreed to create a working group to study and analyze the problems that plague entrepreneurs and to make changes to the procedure for state registration of medical equipment and medical equipment.
