Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan: at a new stage of pharmaceutical cooperation

An international exhibition honoring the 25th anniversary of the UN special program on the Central Asian economy was held in Azerbaijan. Local producers of the pharmaceutical industry of Uzbekistan also participated with their products in this exhibition. The delegation led by the head of the agency, Abdulla Azizov, negotiated with various pharmaceutical companies.

In particular, a meeting was held with the representatives of the leading distributor production companies of Azerbaijan: AzeriMed, Zeytun, Avromed and the representatives of As-Sunna, Techno Pharm, Dentafill, Dentals Pharma, Inan Medical companies in Uzbekistan.

Azerbaijan companies have expressed interest in manufacturing products in the field of high-quality pharmaceutical in Uzbekistan, and issues of establishing cooperation were discussed.

In addition, meetings were held in the building of the Trade Representative Office of Uzbekistan in the territory of Azerbaijan, which is expected to open on December 1, 2023.

In particular, a visit of representatives of Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan is planned at the end of this year in order to get to know the local production areas and to consider the prospects of cooperation.

A meeting was held between the THE PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY, the Agency for the Development of Free Economic Zones of Azerbaijan and the Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments "Azpromo".

During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation in the field of coordination, clarification, development of tools and health care.

Morever, a meeting was organized between the Agency and the representatives of the Analytical Expertise Center under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The companies "Diamed", "Diamed", "Naftalan" and "Art Medical Management group" also took part in the meeting.
