A delegation of Uzbekistan, consisting of representatives of Pharmaceutical industry development agency, manufacturers and distributors of pharmaceutical products, visited the Republic of Belarus to participate in the “First Belarusian-Uzbek Women’s Business Forum”.

Within the framework of forum, representatives of delegation led by management of "Belfarmprom" holding company of the Republic of Belarus and Kh. Ganieva, Advisor to the Director of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency of Uzbekistan met.

During the visits, a memorandum of mutually beneficial cooperation was signed between the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency and the "Belfarmprom" holding.

The issues of creating a joint venture and technology transfer on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan were also discussed.

Representatives of delegation met with management of enterprises RUE "Belmedpreparaty", JSC "Minskinterkaps", "Ekzon", where production technologies for the production of blood products, including albumin and some blood factors, are being studied.

As part of the event, a visit to the Center for Transfusiology of Belarus took place, where current issues of cooperation in the field of pharmaceuticals, priority areas and forecasts for the development of medical science were discussed.

Representatives of the delegation of Uzbekistan also took part in the plenary meeting of the first Belarusian-Uzbek women's business forum on “Women in business - the potential for developing business cooperation between Belarus and Uzbekistan”.

According to the declaration, the forum participants confirmed that they are ready to create joint ventures for the production of medicines in non-overlapping positions.
