The main tasks and functions of the Department for monitoring investment projects and developing the activities of pharmaceutical free economic zones:
➖ participation in the development and implementation of state and regional programs for the development of the pharmaceutical industry, including programs for the free economic zones of the pharmaceutical industry, using public-private partnership mechanisms;
➖ support of the activities of pharmaceutical companies and organizations, participation in the development and implementation of investment programs for the organization of import-substituting production of socially significant medicines and medical devices;
➖ control over the development, implementation and commissioning of investment projects and monitoring the launch of projects;
➖ participation in the development of pharmaceutical free economic zones;
➖ assistance in the modernization and re-equipment of pharmaceutical enterprises, the wide attraction of foreign investment, including those of foreign and international financial institutions;
➖ support of local manufacturers of pharmaceuticals, medical devices and medical equipment in establishing cooperation with leading foreign pharmaceutical companies.
