The meeting of the Director of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency Sardor Kariev with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to the Republic of Uzbekistan H.E. Mr. Peter Santo has been devoted to the discussion of the expansion of cooperation between the two countries in the pharmaceutical industry.

The meeting took place at the office of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency on November 19, 2020.

Welcoming the guests, Sardor Kariev noted that deepening and expanding cooperation with foreign partners, especially in the pharmaceutical industry, is important. “It is worth considering that favorable conditions are being created in Uzbekistan for conducting successful activities, especially with regard to investing in the creation of various industries,” the UzPharmAgency Director said.

In his turn, H.E. Ambassador Peter Santo expressed interest in joint cooperation in pharmaceutical sector.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for the development of investment cooperation, as well as new areas of mutually beneficial partnership.

The agreement on intensification of interaction, including boosting trade turnover between the two countries in the pharmaceutical sector crowned the meeting.
