A meeting was held with representatives from the Republic of Latvia at the Pharmaceutical industry development agency.

The director of the agency, Abdulla Azizov, received a delegation consisting of the head of the Latvian Embassy in Uzbekistan, Elena Puncile, the head of the foreign economic relations department of Latvia in Uzbekistan, Georgijs Voevoda, and a representative of one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in the Baltic region, OlainFarm, Alexander Melnis.

During the discussions, issues such as referencing pricing, electronic prescriptions, and topics related to the marking system were addressed.

OlainFarm, a company engaged in the production and manufacturing of pharmaceutical and chemical products, expressed interest in localizing the production of ampoule-shaped pharmaceutical products in cooperation with local partners.
