Abdulla Azizov, Director of the pharmaceutical industry development agency, attended the 6th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia.

As part of the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission, the director of the agency held a B2G meeting with representatives of "All Care group" and "Jamjoom Pharma" pharmaceutical company.

In particular, with the representatives of the "Jamjoom Pharma" company, the terms of registration of drugs in Uzbekistan, conditions of clinical examination of generic drugs and the coming stages of implementation of the project "Localization of drugs in Uzbekistan" were discussed.

Also, a meeting was held with representatives of "All Care group" within the framework of the topic "Potential of local production in the Republic of Uzbekistan: investments and contract production". At the meeting, issues such as benefits and preferences of manufacturers operating in the territory of free economic pharmaceutical zones and the mechanisms and terms of implementation of guaranteed purchases of pharmaceutical products under the condition of localization were discussed.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue discussing the prospects of cooperation by conducting an online meeting, analyzing and studying information about the market of Uzbekistan.
