In 2019, USAID and the Agency signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in implementing the PQM Plus - "Medication Quality Improvement" program. Sides agreed to cooperate in several areas to achieve the results envisaged in this memorandum. Within the framework of this cooperation, USAID representatives met with the agency employees of several departments.

In particular, on September 19, at the meeting with the representatives of the "Center of Necessary Practices" SUE, parties discussed the issue of standard operational processes, the full development of the quality management system, the principles of implementation, and maintenance.

On September 20, employees of the Licensing and Control Department, as well as GMP inspectors, discussed the situation in the existing system, application and licensing processes, detection of quality defects, and license revocation and analyzed the results of the latest inspections conducted by the inspectors.

On September 21, trainer Jiri Kholi held a training course on certification and validation issues.

On the last day of the meetings, on September 22, representatives of the Pharmaceutical Inspection talked about the PIC/S indicators of the Farminspection cooperation system (legislation, inspection processes, inspectors, their training, access to laboratories, quality defects).

On the same day, the agency's management also met with USAID representatives and discussed the issues to be resolved and the prospects of cooperation.
