A factory that produces syringes and medical infusion systems was put to work in Kokand

Joint enterprise "Life Import" LLC, specializing in the production of medical products, started working in the city of Kokand. Enterprise will produce 100 million syringes, 30 million medical infusion systems, and 33.5 million medical masks and gloves.

Governor of the region Khairullo Bozorov, deputy director of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry Bahadirkhoja Temirov, took part in the solemn event dedicated to the opening of the enterprise.

The total cost of this project, which was implemented at the initiative of businessman Akhmadjon Haydarov, is 5.5 million dollars, of which 1 million dollars is a direct investment of Chinese investors. In addition, the regional government supported it with a bank loan of 1.8 million dollars. For production, the most modern machines were imported from China and installed.

More than 120 young people will get employment opportunities at the enterprise, which works in two shifts. With the launch of this enterprise, the number of enterprises specializing in producing pharmaceutical and medical equipment in the Fergana region has reached 10.

After the opening event, businessman Akhmadjon Haydarov presented new projects being implemented by the joint venture "Life Import" LLC to the head of the region. 

As a result of the project to establish the production of medicines worth 17 million dollars, it is planned to produce products worth 180 billion soums and create more than 100 new jobs. Furthermore, the region governor noted that the location of this project in the territory of the "Koqon" SEZ would allow it to be put into operation by the end of next year.

It is also planned to implement the investment project for the organization of waste processing by "Life Import" LLC. As a result of the implementation of the $2.5 million project, 80 new jobs will be created, and the enterprise will make an annual capacity of 300,000 tons of waste processing.

The regional governor said that the entrepreneur would be given total support for implementing both projects.
