This June 25, an online business forum was held with the participation of experts and representatives of the pharmaceutical industry of Uzbekistan and Italy.

The event, initiated by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, brought together management and leading specialists of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency, representatives of local manufacturers and distributors from the Uzbek side and representatives of the pharmaceutical industry of Italy.

Within the framework of the online business forum, Sardor Kariev, Director, the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency, made a presentation in which he gave detailed information on ongoing reforms in the pharmaceutical sector, the conditions created in our country for those engaged in this industry, the potential of the sector, the opportunities created for foreign investors, and the activities of the country’s free pharmaceutical zones.

During the event, experts from the pharmaceutical industry of Uzbekistan and Italy discussed a number of issues of mutual interest. Also, representatives of pharmaceutical companies of both countries exchanged information on their products.

Following the online meeting, the parties agreed to establish and develop cooperation.
